Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 26 July 2026
This Policy forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to every purchase made on cresmd.co.
This Policy covers everything you can buy from CresMD at www.cresmd.co: our online courses, digital downloads, memberships and subscriptions, coaching and booked sessions, and bundles. When you complete a purchase you are confirming that you have read and accepted it. This Policy forms part of our Terms of Service.
CresMD is an independent medical education practice, and what we sell is digital. You get access immediately or very shortly after payment, and once material has been viewed it cannot meaningfully be returned. Everything we produce is preparation and study material. We put real care and clinical experience into it, but we cannot promise an examination result, a score, a licence, a residency match, or a job, and disappointment with an examination outcome is not a ground for a refund.
By buying and opening the material you are asking us to deliver it to you straight away, and you accept that, so far as the law allows, you give up any statutory cooling-off or withdrawal period once your access has begun. If you live somewhere that gives you a cooling-off right that cannot lawfully be given up, that right applies and overrides this section.
We would far rather you were on the right course than stuck on the wrong one. You may ask for a full refund within seven (7) calendar days of your purchase, provided that at the moment you ask you have completed no more than fifteen percent (15%) of the lessons, you have not downloaded, printed, or saved any downloadable material, and you have not started or finished any mock examination, graded assessment, or answer key. Progress is measured by the platform’s own completion tracking, and those records are what we rely on.
The following cannot be refunded once they have been delivered or opened:
Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing us, and cancelling stops future billing from the end of your current billing period. Fees already paid for the current or earlier periods are not refunded, and we do not pro-rate unused time. If you bought on a payment plan, the full agreed amount is still owed; stopping the instalments does not cancel the balance, and access may be paused until it is settled.
If you cannot get into material you have paid for and the problem is at our end, email [email protected] and we will fix your access. A refund only comes into it if we cannot restore your access within a reasonable time. Problems caused by your own device, browser, network, workplace firewall, or a change in your own circumstances are not grounds for a refund.
If you have genuinely been charged twice, we refund the duplicate in full once we have checked it. If you think your payment method was used without your permission, tell us straight away and we will look into it.
Email [email protected] from the address you used at purchase, and include your order number, the product, the date of purchase, and a short explanation. We will acknowledge your request within two (2) business days and give you a decision within seven (7) business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within five to ten business days, and your bank may take a little longer to show it. We cannot refund to a different person or a different payment method, and any bank, currency-conversion, or gateway fees taken by third parties are not ours to return.
Once a refund is issued, your enrolment and your licence to use the material end immediately, your access is removed, and you must delete any copies you still hold. Continuing to use, share, or keep the material after a refund is a breach of this Policy and of our Terms of Service.
If something has gone wrong, email us first. We will genuinely try to sort it out. Raising a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us first is a breach of this Policy. We keep clear records of purchases, delivery, logins, lesson completion, downloads, and correspondence, and we will provide them to the payment processor. Where a dispute is raised in bad faith, or after a substantial part of the material has already been used, we may suspend or permanently close your account and any related accounts, remove your access to every CresMD product you hold, recover the disputed amount together with the processor’s dispute fee and any reasonable costs of recovery, and decline to sell to you again.
We will not issue a refund, and we may end your access without one, where we reasonably conclude that you have shared, resold, recorded, screen-captured, republished, or otherwise distributed our material; used multiple accounts, false identities, or fraudulent payment details; taken the content and then asked for your money back; used this Policy repeatedly to obtain material for free; or been abusive, threatening, or harassing towards us, towards anyone who works with us, or towards other learners. Nothing in this section limits any other remedy open to us.
In cases of serious illness, bereavement, or comparable hardship, and on reasonable evidence, we may choose to offer a refund, credit, extension, or transfer outside this Policy. Any such decision is a goodwill gesture, made case by case. It does not set a precedent and it does not waive any part of this Policy.
We may update this Policy at any time. The version in force when you buy is the one that governs your purchase, so it is worth saving or printing a copy at checkout.
Nothing here removes or limits any right or guarantee you have under consumer protection law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where this Policy conflicts with such a right, that right wins and the rest of this Policy still stands. This Policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Alberta have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory protections available to you where you live.
